(UPDATE == Upon reading game information book in-game regarding information on the monsters in the world, I realized something. The monsters you need to kill for the quests AREN'T in the game after all! They're all just misnamed creatures, and the quests don't mean anything! There ARE no snakes! There ARE no giants! And there ARE no gargoyles.)
I will have quests asking me to kill 42 Giants, 37 Gargoyles, and 51 Giant Snakes.
What I see in the world are Devs (Giants), Heykels (Gargoyles), and Yilans (Giant Snakes). However, when you kill these enemies that describe perfectly that which is being asked to be killed in the quests? No quest progression. Which leads me to believe that you have to kill the enemies of that specific names.
Why are the giants called Devs when the quests ask for Giants.
Why are the gargoyles called Heykels when the quests ask for Gargoyles.
Why are the giant snakes yilans when...
I think you get my point.
If it's a translation issue, that's one thing. But I'm not able to do anything, really. Leveling is dependent on finding the weakest enemies (Yilans/Giant Snakes), and the next up would be Fares (Rat People?). But the Fares are exponentially more powerful, having a larger health pool and much higher attack power and speed. So you are stuck on the Yilans for a good while.
Which sucks, because you can't even open the chests that are dotting the map all over until level 6.
